We’ve reached a huge milestone for building a coaching culture within the First Group of Companies! All staff (over 140 employees) have now participated in a 3 hour introduction to coaching and the Expedition Coaching GUIDE Model. It was an awesome and exhausting experience to host thirteen three-hour sessions this past month. Key words/themes discussed were asking, telling, ego, agenda, essence, listening, WAIT, 80/20 rule, GUIDE model, and solution-based thinking. The learning and feedback were awesome! The results definitely showed an interest in more training on the subject. We are planning some sessions this spring including an extended version of this training as well as how we can apply the ‘coach approach’ to support our member/clients with their needs.
